H&H Reserve

  • BIG fan of H&H reserve, low key, low lights, low prices for a huge mug of ichiban lager plus Dog Day Afternoon putting out some excellent food at maybe not so excellent prices.

    They have the unfortunate position of being immediately across the way form Birria landia which has some of the best tacos in the area

Cozy Royale

  • idk what this place is but a commenter says it's good I'm not digging deep, it's in East Williamsburg, the BQE is the divide and there is a blended Williamsburg/East Williamsburg vibe between bqe and Bushwick Ave (Reclamation honorary member), we should call it TriGrumbolt: triangle between Grand and Humboldt. this makes me from TriGrumbolt, nice

Mother’s

  • fyi cannot confirm menu is up to date (sandwich pic 5 days ago (2/5/2026) but idk about beers) This spot looks cool, I haven't been, it was recommended by a commentor and I agree it belongs on the list, has the most pictures of any place on this list cause the menu is big. That said I believe it is in East Williamsburg, so it's making me think I might create a sheet for every neighborhood (that's a true project so tbd)

Common Mollies

  • Apparently you can get $3 jellow shots if we’re taking the happy hour literally, I have not personally tested this.

    Common Mollies is a pretty big bar with good booths, tables, and bar seating - they got a dartboard in the back (not particularly convenient location because it’s in front of the bathroom door) and do events very consistently; apparently they’re updating their menu but I grabbed some pics of the happy hour which is somewhat standard fare BUT has a weekend offering!

Union Pool

  • Hot (not really) take - I like Union Pool.

    They got multiple rooms all very different vibes, a biiiig outdoor area with a taco truck (mildly redundant because Birria Landia is right there, but these tacos are $2 during happy hour so might actually be worth it).

    Dance floor is usually very active, DJs play the hits so everyone’s moving, have had a lot of fun nights here!

    Also apparently it has a reputation as a hookup bar, I hear this second hand though so cannot confirm.
